Art and the artist
Hayashi Yuki has marked her presence in paraguayan art, embodying the connection between two very different cultures. From that particular and unique point of view, her endeavors produced pieces that are marked by a peculiar perception of reality.
Hayashi's work leaves aside the eternal dichotomy form versus content: in her work the message is inherent in the very language used, the medium is a subtle message. The ethereal beauty of her flowers is perceived as real, which seems to celebrate life in its fullness, coexisting its softer and beautiful aspects, roughness, with pain, accepting death as part of a cycle. The best metaphor of life is the refelection of a living form, which is allowed to exist, eternal and deadly over time.
